Cottages on Kentucky Lake
Offering a wide variety of cottages, Moors lets you choose the “home away from home” that is just right for you! All cottages are equipped with a refrigerator, stove, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, pots and pans, dishes and silverware, and a charcoal grill. Linens are provided and each unit is equipped with cable TV. Daily housekeeping service is not provided in the cottages, however clean towels are supplied upon request. Please call the front desk to request fresh towels. Check-in is 4:00 PM, and check-out is 10:00 AM. Pets are allowed in designated pet friendly cottages only with a non-refundable pet fee and a refundable damage deposit if no damage is present after checkout.
Log Cabin Lodge on Kentucky Lake
If everyday “chores” don’t fit into your vacation plans, a lodge room may best suit your needs. Leave the cooking to our restaurant staff, the cleaning to the housekeepers, and you lay back and enjoy beautiful Kentucky Lake. Your room will have traditional hotel room styling with subtle country accents. It includes two queen-size beds, a full bath, microwave oven, small refrigerator, coffee pot, hairdryer, cable television, and all the comforts of your own room at home. Two handicap rooms are available upon request. The Great Room is available for guest use if it is not reserved in advance and FREE WiFi is available in the lodge. As the day draws to an end, venture to the large deck on the back of the Lodge for one of the most spectacular sunsets you could ever experience with front row seats overlooking Buckhorn Bay. Yes, life at The Moors is one of leisure and beauty! Now, that’s a vacation!

Moors Resort proudly hosts more family reunions, business and school meetings, church retreats, and fishing tournaments with each passing year. Our Group Coordinator will handle all the details to ensure that your stay is a success for all the participants. Whatever the theme of your event, it’s one-stop shopping at The Moors!
Business, church, and school groups need look no further for a suitable site. With 24 lodge rooms and a large meeting room, you have all the necessities for a successful meeting in a cozy, country setting on Kentucky Lake, The South’s Great Lake.
For family reunions with diverse needs, the combination of cottages and lodge rooms provides the perfect choices for those who want to “bunk in together”, or have a private room to “get away”. You may also reserve our Lakefront Pavilion for a “do-it-yourself” cookout. We now offer catering options. Please ask our Group Coordinator for more information on catering.
With swimming at the pool or beach, rental craft from Jet Skis to pontoons, miniature golf and more… there is something for all ages at Moors Resort & Marina.

The Great Room
The Meeting Room, also known as the “Great Room,” is a large entertainment area with a cathedral ceiling, a beautiful stone fireplace and a cozy, country setting. The furnishings have the ability to be “event-specific”. For a business or company, we offer tables, chairs, and UPS receiving capabilities. If you are planning a reunion or retreat, we have a big screen television and room to socialize. Rest assured, your program will be professionally managed. We will assist you with all facets of your planning needs through one contact. We pride ourselves on this personal approach and are dedicated to your complete satisfaction with our service. On-site catering may be arranged during your event planning. We are capable of accommodating groups, large or small. We welcome meetings, fishing tournaments, weddings, anniversaries, family reunions, church retreats, school functions, companies, corporations, holiday parties, etc. Whatever your plans, our Group Coordinator will be happy to assist.
